At the beginning of the year 2000, an area in Dubai was dedicated to developing industries with the vision to fuel the growth of technology and industrial manufacturing. This dedicated zone was named Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Technology Park
Development of infrastructure for PHASE 1 starts. There are 7 phases planned for this zone. Also, Metito, a global water and wastewater treatment solution company, set up a plant within the zone, making them the first largest facility in NIP
Phase 1 road and utility infrastructure is completed. Meanwhile, the development of infrastructure in other phases is underway.
The zone is rebranded to TechnoPark. The vision remains the same: to support industrial manufacturing development in Dubai.
Danube Building Material FZCO signs the lease to set up facilities in NIP with a total plot area of 129,836 sq. meters.
6 phases of the master plan are now utilities ready, and road infrastructure is partially completed. There are now 17 global companies that have set up their facilities within this zone.
The zone is rebranded to National Industries Park. The 21 square kilometre of land is dedicated to developing and supporting manufacturing and industrial production. 6 phases of infrastructure development are complete, with road infrastructure open.
